Blizzard of 2015

What do you do when there's a blizzard outside?  Why, stay in your pajamas all day, of course!

Then, after a while, you get a little stir crazy and spend half an hour getting dressed and into your gear and head out into the storm.

And the best way to get around?  Being pulled on a sled by Mommy!

The snow almost three feet deep at the point we went outside...

...which means the only remaining place for a snow angel is the middle of the driveway.

The pile from the snowplow at the end of the driveway was over 6 feet tall.

Emma needed a little boost to get up to the top.

But getting down was pretty easy!

Dave said when he came out, the snow drifts were about "this high".  (Our garage doors also a bit taller than normal.)

This is the path to the front door, only a couple of inches wider than the sled.

What's more fun than sledding down the driveway?

Before we went back inside, we had to take some measurements.

Almost three feet deep...

...and still coming down!

Here's a little bit of our fun as the snow started to pick up again.

We got back inside, just in time.  Any longer and this guy would have turned into a snowman.
