Camp in August

My third trip this summer was another trip up to camp.  This time I got to meet some more relatives, a bunch of great-aunts, a great-great-aunt, and a cousin.

Here we are, four generations of family together.  There's Great Grandma and Great Granddad, Great-Aunt Susie, Nana, Great Aunt Mimi, my Cousin Annie, Mommy (and Me!) and Aunt Kate.  Did you notice, we're all girls?  No boys in this family!

Here's my Aunt Mimi and Great-Granddad with my teddy bear.  Aunt Mimi and Aunt Anma made him for me and they named him after Great-Granddad.

Here's Aunt Anma helping me swim in the lake.

This is Annie and Aunt Susie, Annie has a special book that tells her all about everything that grows at camp.

We had some nice swimming weather.

Great Grandma and Great Granddad even came down to the lake to watch me swim!

And I liked watching Aunt Anma's sailboat go by.

And guess what else!  Annie's friend Hawk found a frog for me!

I liked playing with him a lot!

I went kayaking with Daddy.

One of the highlights of this trip was getting to see some horses!  We came back from Lake Placid one afternoon and there were horses at the neighbor's camp!  Real ones!

And you know what else?  These horses like to swim!

See?  See?

And just like Lexi, right after she gets all clean, Patrick (that's this guy's name) likes to roll around in the dirt.

I also liked to swing in the hammock at Great Grandma and Great Granddad's camp.

And the one at Grandpa's camp.

Lexi and I played together too.

Some of the time we just sat around and relaxed.

And some of the time we went for a walk.  Mush, Grandpa!

We went swimming at the island again and here I am with Mommy and Daddy.

And here's me sitting with Mommy having a bedtime snack.  I can't wait to go back again, but Mommy says it will have to wait 'til next year.

My First Wedding

No, I didn't get married and forget to invite you!  I just went to my first wedding earlier this month.  It was Daddy's cousin Aaron who married a pretty lady named Katie.  I added another state to my list of places I've gone to because the wedding was in Michigan.  Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Ben picked me up at the airport.
I had a lot to tell Uncle Ben about my trip.

Mommy said I shouldn't pull his finger, but I had to make sure he was paying attention to what I had to say!

I had a little nap because I didn't sleep on the way to the wedding and then it was time to party!  First I went to a party in Aunt DeeDee and Uncle Jeff's room.

That guy is the one who is getting married and the girl was at Mommy and Daddy's wedding.  I wasn't there, but they said she was their flower girl.  (By the way, I'm available to be your flower girl...)

Then on Friday night there was a party at the hotel.
It turns out my cousin Richie was there too!  And you know what else, he was at the airport and on the same plane as me too!  Can you believe it?!

Hey Richie!  You want to get outta here and go get a bottle somewhere?

Here I am with Uncle Ben again!

We had a late night on Friday, so I was a little tired the next morning.

But don't worry, after I order a breakfast with the works I'll be ready to go again!

Waitress?  Waitress?  I don't think she took my order...

In the afternoon we went to the wedding.

Here's Mommy and me at the church.

There's Aaron again, waiting for wedding to start.

Here's Aunt DeeDee, Uncle Jeff, and Emily watching the wedding.

And look!  There's the princess!  She looks so pretty.

I think they like each other.

They're kissing!!!

After a little nap at the hotel we went out to another party.  This one was at a fancy, princessy sounding place called a grand ballroom.
When will the princess get here?

When it was time for dinner, everybody else got some pasta and chicken, but I had my regular cheerios and and applesauce.  I also had some yummy breadsticks!

Richie and I chatted a bit...

...and then it was time for the dancing to start.

Woot woot!

I also danced with Grandpa and then Grandma came over and tried to cut in.

'Cause she wanted to dance with me too!

I took a break from dancing to play a little bit.

And so did Richie too.  (He was wondering if I thought this ball tasted like green.)

Meanwhile, everybody else was dancing and having a good time.

I also visited with some other people too.  Hey Chris, when will I get another cousin to play with?  I think it's your turn next...

Here's all of my family that came to the wedding.

After a while, I started to get a little tired.

So I decided to sit down in my special seat, but just for a minute.

And Richie too.

On Sunday, I went for a swim at the hotel pool and then we took a couple of last pictures before we headed back home.
