One Month On...

Jonathan had his one month check-up at the pediatrician yesterday.  He weighs 10lbs, 11 oz. and is 22 inches long.  We took some pictures yesterday and today with both Jonathan and Emma.

I Have a Baby Brudder!

Guess what?!  On Friday my friend RieRie came to pick me up at school!  Know why?  It's cause Mommy was having my baby brudder at the hospital!  

When I got home, Nana came to stay with me.  After dinner, Daddy came to pick me up and we went to the hospital to see Mommy and my new baby for the first time.

We went back again to visit on Saturday.

   

 Here's Daddy and me going to look in the nursery.  Hmmm... I wonder which one is mine...

That's my baby!

I let Daddy help me bring him down to Mommy's room.

     

At last, he's here and I can really look at him!  I'm so excited, can you tell?

Don't we look cute together?  I love this little guy!

Look!  He's holding my finger!  I telled Mommy that I will let the baby hold my finger and pull on my nose.

It was hard to leave Mommy and the baby at the hospital to sleep at night, but finally, on Sunday morning we got to bring them both home.  I telled the baby it was okay and that we could go home now.

Emma's First Day of Pre-School

Today was Emma's first day of Pre-School at her daycare.  When asked how her day was, she was quite proud to report that, "I didn't even cry, Mommy!".  She also claimed to have taught all the little kids how to write their letters.

Emma's Big News

Emma has some news that she wants to share with everyone.  She is excited about her news, but more importantly about the bike ride and picnic we had planned on having as soon as we finished making our movie.  It's a little hard to hold still and not wiggle when you have so much excitement in your life!

Here she is, modeling her new favorite shirt!

Easter

We had a lot of fun Easter weekend decorating eggs, looking through our Easter basket, and having an Easter egg hunt.

Mommy said to use the scooper to check on the eggs...

...but I thought it was easier to just use my hands.

Then it was time for STICKERS!!!

    

 

Here I am waiting on the steps to go find my Easter basket.

Ohhh... what's in here?

There are some shovels that are just right for banging and singing "Jingle Bells"!

And who doesn't like froggy gloves?

Daddy read me Corduroy.

Mommy said I could choose one piece of candy, so I picked a red gummy bunny.

    

After I got dressed, it was time to go outside and look for my Easter eggs.  I had a big basket of them, but then the Easter Bunny took them all and hid them outside for me to find.

There were eggs in the bushes...

     

...bunny eggs, and after a while I filled up my whole basket!
