Moving Day

Yesterday the movers came and started boxing up everything.  Today there are only a few odds and ends left to put into boxes and everything will need to be moved out to the truck.  

This is the truck that pulled up at 9:00 this morning to load all of our stuff.  I have been assured (much to Dave's relief) that we don't own enough stuff to actually fill this entire truck.  I'm not sure what percentage of the truck we will fill, but it does seem like we have an awful lot of stuff now that it is boxed up and everything is pulled out of its usual spot. The movers were quite happy that the house is all on one level and that there were no stairs to have to haul things up and down, but there are still four of them here to load the truck up.

Tomorrow is our closing and then we're off to Virginia and will see all our belongings again sometime next week.  When we get down I'll put up a few pictures of the new house and then when things are all unpacked and put away we'll have an official tour of the new house.

Our Soon To Be Old House

As you all know, we are going to be moving to Virginia on July 1st.  When we were getting ready to sell the house our realtor had a photographer come and take pictures of the house for the MLS listing and the brochure she was going to put together.  I asked her to send me a copy of the pictures and for those of you who have not seen our house in Chelmsford or have not seen the new floor or bathroom, here are some photos for you.  When we get down to Virginia, I will put up some pictures of our new house.
